MEL VP Season 2 Qualifier Tournaments

MEL VP Qualifier Tournaments

$5 Entry fee

This is designed to bring in committed teams only. All entry fees will go towards the VP and QL Prize Pools. We don't profit from these.

16 Teams Per Tournament

Single Elimination

Double Elimination bracket if we don't reach the 16 team max.

Round 1,2 and 3 are Bo1's

Round 4 and 5 are Bo3's

1st Place qualifies for the MEL Valorant Premiership and $25 Prize (%75 of entry fees)

MEL VP is a 6-8 Week event. Minimum of $1500 Prize Pool

2nd Place qualifies for the MEL VP Qualifier Division and $5 Prize (%25 of entry fees)

3rd Place Qualifiers for the MEL VP Qualifier Division

MEL VP QD is a 6-8 Week season. Minimum of a $500 Prize Pool.

All Teams can compete in 2 qualifier tournaments to try to earn your spot in the MEL VP

Why play in the MEL VP and QL?

MEL VP

8 -12 Teams

  • All individual/team statistics will be tracked on MCT.GG on pages like this

    • ​These statistics include - Individual Game Stats, Average Game Stats​​

      • Individual Game Stats - Combat Score, Kills, Deaths, Assists, KDA, First Bloods, Agent Selection. (Coming soon- Best Gun, Head Shot %, Kill Participation %, DMG, and DMG PR)​

      • Average Stats -  Combat Score, Kills, Deaths, Assists, First Bloods, Most picked Agents.                   (Coming soon - Best Gun on Avg, Avg Headshot %, Avg KP%, Avg DMG PR.)

      • All games will also be put on TheSpike.gg

  • Consistent Schedule​​

    • The MEL is designed to give teams and players the opportunity to grow consistently and replicate the pro scene. Playing multiple Bo3's against similar level teams to help you work on agent/map pools.​

    • A consistent schedule also allows you and your team to avoid playing in random tournaments that aren't being scouted. With all statistics and games recorded/streamed and posted on your individual/team profiles, organization scouts can find every piece of information that they need with ease, allowing you to get on their radar.

    • The MEL VP will be a single round robin of Bo3's into a double elimination playoff bracket*

      • This takes place over a 6 week season. Playing games every Friday Saturday Sunday*​

  • All Games Broadcasted Professionally​​​

    • All MEL VP Games will be livestreamed on our Twitch channel with casters. This allows you, your friends/family, and scouts to watch all games with the same production level that you see at the professional level. This also enables you to scout the team you're playing in the upcoming weekend!​

  • Prize Pool​​

    • $1,250 - $1,750: 75% to 1st Place , 25% to 2nd place​

    • We know huge prize pools are appealing to a lot of teams, sadly we can't offer a lot yet. What we can offer is preparation for these future VCT Players/Teams.​

  • MEL VP Entry Fee $250​​​​​​

    • 100% of the entry fee goes towards the prize pool, casters, and MEL Staff to keep all of your statistics up to date! We do not profit from the MEL, we do this for you! As things grow, so does the prize pool!​

    • All Twitch subs go towards the VP and QL Prize Pools so it is always growing! 

    • All additional sponsors during the event can also allow this number to grow!​​​

  • Other Perks - Social media posts, Stars of the Week, and Event Awards

    • Please also remember, the MEL Staff wants to help you and your team take the step towards the next level, so we will always be pushing top players/teams in front of Pro Scouts.​

  • All Games will be recorded or streamed

    • With the introduction to two leagues, we cannot currently offer every MEL QL game to streamed. As of right now, around 50% of the Round Robin Games will be streamed, and all of playoffs will be streamed!

    • All Games will be recorded and posted to your MCT.GG profiles and allow you to go back and view them at any point!

  • Prize Pool​​

    • $500- $1,000: 75% to 1st Place , 25% to 2nd place​

    • 1st and 2nd Place gets invited to the next MEL Valorant Permiership!

Why Two Different Event Levels?

The future goal of the MEL is to create a feeder system within our two events.

This will allow us to remove our qualifier tournaments. The MEL VP's bottom 2 teams will be put into the next season's QL and the top 2 teams from the QL will be moved into the next season of the VP.
