How to compete
Sign ups for the Contenders Division have closed, but this doesn't mean you don't have a chance to qualify for the main event! We here at MCT Esports want to give as many teams as possible a chance to compete for a spot in the next season of the Premiership! 
With this being said our Contenders Division Last Chance Qualifier event will have 43 open invites available for anyone to enter. This will put you in a tournament against stage 1 teams and give you a chance to compete for a $1,000 prize pool and an invite into Playoffs.

More Info
This season of the MCT Contenders Division will showcase 21 teams split into 3 groups at random. Stage 1 will consist of each team playing within their group stage. The top two teams from each group qualify for playoffs. The remaining teams will be invited into a 64 team tournament called the MCT LCQ. The top two finishers in this tournament will be invited into playoffs. The final 8 teams that have qualified will enter a double elimination playoff bracket.
What will the schedule look like?
Stage 1: Each team will be playing in a single round robin bracket within their group Starting on July 27th. This stage will take place over the first two weeks of the season. So teams should expect to be playing two Bo3's a week for the first 2 weeks of the season.
Stage 2: The MCT LCQ will begin 3 days after the final stage 1 game and take place over a 3 day period. This event will showcase 64 teams and give everyone a chance to fight for the final spot into the MCT Contenders Division Playoffs. This event will be held from 8.17-8.19. Sign up Below.
LCQ Prize Pool: $1,000 and a Qualification into MCT CD Playoffs $3,000 Prize Pool.
LCQ Format : 64 Teams Split into 16 groups of 4 playing a round robin (bo1). The top two teams from each group enter LCQ Playoffs (bo3). 
Stage 3: Playoffs will begin 3 days after the MCT LCQ Event.
